Age 13 months, 1 week
Our camera isn't working right now, so I'm unable to post new pictures. Gabriella is changing faster than I can post. Just this past week she has begun to walk on a regular basis. Stew calls her, "Franken-Baby," in reference to her unsteady gate with arms extended. She also likes to call everything that she wants, "that," accompanied by a point. Cute at first, then feels a little demanding. Consequently, she's learned that following it up with a, "Dank-oo" (thank you,) gets a lot of positive feedback from Stew and I!
Yesterday, after nursing, she said, "Dank-oo!"
Her new trick is, "ARMS UP" - and she lifts her arms over her head. I think she learned it from getting dressed and undressed. It's funny how you don't even realize some of the things you say unconsciously!
Gabriella can also get off of the couch and bed independently. She knows to go feet first. So now, when she wakes up in the morning, she says a few cute things and then proceeds to climb off the bed. (I USED to like to ease into the day...) :)
Her current weight is about 20 lbs.
