Father's Day 2008

Most of Father's day this year was spent in the Orlando and Buffalo airports. Stew received a couple of gifts from Gabriella, one being the Daddy Hugs book by Karen Katz, one of Gabriella's favorite authors. (Hmm... somewhat self-serving gift?)

Daddy reading to Gabriella in the Orlando airport.

Gabriella contemplating where to run to next.(Click on photo for the full effect of her expression. It perfectly captures how she behaved for most of the travel day.)

During our vacation, I ran into a mother of three young children. After she interacted with Gabriella for a brief moment, she said to me, "God help you." I'm still not sure what to make of that, but I think Gabriella's expression in this picture may give me a clue.

Gabriella taking a cat nap on the flight back to Buffalo. The nap didn't last nearly long enough, but it was enough time to remind us what a cutie pie she is...

We'll do an official Father's Day celebration next week... more to come!
